Defective component: W39XA6X44KZ9-7Q6UWQ

Ran a hardware diagnoctic on a Yoga 900-131SK, and message above came up. Battery Computer does not charge anymore, but for the first 10-20 seconds after reboot, then stops charging.

Runs when connected on power.

Diagnostic says battery health ok.

Which component does the error code refers to?

Welcome to the community forums.

 

Have you tried charging the laptop while it is turned off? Did you use the Lenovo Vantage to run a hardware scan? Ideally, it will show what part of the hardware components failed on the scan. Let us try updating the BIOS and reinstall the ACPI driver in device manager. You may follow the steps below.

 

• Press Windows + X then select device manager

• Expand Batteries

• Uninstall ACPI and battery driver

• Restart the laptop

 

Once done, go to support website, enter the serial number, drivers and software then select manual update. Download the latest BIOS and ACPI (Power Management).
