Thank you so much! Same, I dont know much about coding but i asked someone I know on which programs we will be using on our class, I was very pleased to hear we will only use dev c++! If we start using something else I will just bring the other laptop I have but I hope we just stick with dev

One other caveat: Coding, as you might guess, involves lots of typing. While the flat keyboard on the Yoga Book is fine for short work, I find the lack of physical keys to place my fingers without looking to slow me down a bit. If you're already a hunt-and-peck typist, it shouldn't matter, but if you touch-type, you may find the occasional "miskey and then find the right one" to be distracting.
