Pen & pen app not working - Yoga c640

I bought my Yoga c640 right after the lockdown lifted. The problem is that (a) the pen intermittently doesn't connect to the screen (b) the pen app hangs and doesn't connect to the pen at all (c) the buttons on the pen don't work at all.

 

I called customer service, who sent an engineer, replaced the pen, but the new pen has the same problem. I've been calling and writing to customer service repeatedly since then but haven't received a single reply.

I've tried:

  • updating Windows
  • uninstalling and installing the pen app
  • Wacom drivers & HID drivers which are all up to date

 

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please help!

Same here, second pen, new batteries, and nothing.

No the same laptop, IdeaPad Flex 5 14ARE05, but I have the same issues. It is impossible to work in this conditions.
