Some time ago, I was installing new software and I believe what happened is that storage filled up. Ever since, I'm getting this message upon boot up:
Windows Boot Manager boot failed.
When taping OK, I get a different mesasge:
Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed.
Insert Recovery Media and Hit any key
Then Select 'Bookt Manager' to choose a new Boot Device or to Boot Recovery Media
Then, tap OK which brings up a boot option menu. There are two options, EFI Boot Devices and Windows Boot Manager. My plan is to create a USB boot image and boot from that but to select EFI Boot Devices, It requires using the up/down arrow keys. Unfortunately, the halo keyboard isn't lit so I can't do that. Taping EFI Boot Devices won't work. the only think I can tap is the OK button which just tries to reboot and goes back to the initial error.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to restore my device?

I managed to fix this. I created a bootable usb stick. When I restarted with it attched, it asked if I wanted to updat or clean install. Choosing update did the trick.
