Yoga Ideapad model 20187 no boot order sequence (no NOVO button)

This device is running Windows 8RT. I want to boot Ubuntu Linux from a USB device but I can't get to the boot sequence.  F1, F2, F12 (with and without Function Key) does not work. Windows + Volume up does not work. Spoke with Lenovo telephone support for 2 hours - no joy.   I have the bitlocker key (which Lenovo support said I MUST have) and never needed it or was asked by Lenovo or the laptop to enter it.  I found a reference to a registry command but windows online to boot from usb but it doesn't seem to apply to just getting the boot order reordered.

Thanks in advance, Dave
