My Zumocast closes on it's own, WHY?

My phone is a Moto Droid 3.
I turn on ZC, but after a while... it just turns off. By itself.
I've turned the screensaver OFF, the energy saver OFF, and hit the ZC setting "Never go to sleep."
My computer does NOT go to sleep, and yet, ZC still closes, by itself.
If it helps, I have an iMac.

This is preventing me from actually being able to use ZC.
Can somebody help?

Oh BTW, ZC works PERFECTLY for the first 20 minutes (or so). Until it closes.

I can stream all my folders with no problem. Until it closes.

Re: My Zumocast closes on it's own, WHY?

I have the same problem.  My PC runs the zumocast software, it works, and then closes automatically every time (mine closes after 2 - 5min though, rather than 20min).

I have a Droid Bionic and am running Win7 64-bit.

I would guess this is a memory problem. The software probably leaks memory like crazy, and the amount of time you get is most likely related to how many other things are happening on your phone and how much free memory you have.

I have this problem on an iPhone and iPad (even though not officially supported), and have it just stop playing streams about 20 to 30 minutes in.  The server is not at fault from what I can tells as it continues to stream to other devices. I can increase the time buy quitting all other apps, and even restartmg before streaming. That too leads to memory leaks as the most likely problem.

But as the lack of responses to this forum show, I do not even think this software is being supported anymore. You might look to other solutions. I have been using Orb on both iOS and Android, and it supports a lot more formats. It does not allow download, but it streams well.
