Thank you so much! This is the answer for which I was hoping. Am able to switch from one bluetooth device to another without needing to reboot. Somebody give a medal to this person.

I have been wrestling with the same problem with my G4 failing to connect to my car system, which had been working flawlessly until a week ago. I did a full system restore, only then to be hit by the 'jiggling screen' problem reported elsewhere, and having rediscovered this forum to solve that problem, I was delighted to find the workaround to the bluetooth issue. Disabling app scanning in locations has solved the problem for me: thank you. Hopefully the Moto support team will investigate and let us know which app is actually causing the problem. Thanks again.

I have a similar issue with my G4plus. It used to connect to my car with no issues but now when I pair the phone, the car screen says it is connected but when I use the phone to call it doesnt connect to the car. It connects ok to my BT Motorola head phones but my Health Miles pedometer won't connect unless I reboot the phone and reconnect. Very annoying and I have recommended this phone to a lot of family members and friends in FB. I know 3 of them already bought it so I hope they dont have the same issue I have otherwise they're gonna be really upset with me. BTW, I used to work for Motorola in Boynton Beach as an engineer for pagers back in the good old days. PLEASE HELP.
