Re: [ROM][ICS]Ideapad K1 Official Release

I had to reboot to see my External SDcard. (sdcard2)

restoring from backup now.

Thanks so much for this quick-to-market rooted version.

Please post a link so we can donate.

Thank you so much!

Re: [ROM][ICS]Ideapad K1 Official Release

What are the benefits/disadvantages for using either the rooted or non-rooted version?

Re: [ROM][ICS]Ideapad K1 Official Release

Thanks Khanning for this.  As a newbie to all this, can you please add a few instructions as how to flash? do i connect the ideapad  and start on recovery mode before doing this or should I have it connected aand thenjust double click on windows flash?  your advice on this will be welcome.  Alternatively, has anyone done a youtube video of the upgrade process?  Cheers for all your help

Re: [ROM][ICS]Ideapad K1 Official Release

pardon my ignorance, but, i'm not at all familiar with how flashing works. khannings instructions were quite clear, but what do i need to do first before even attempting the first step? do i need to have my tablet connected to my pc? do i need to remove my micro sd from it's slot before doing this? maybe someone could post an "idiot proof" method of going about this upgrade for the non "tech savvy" people like me who would also like to experience ics on their tablets. thanks.
