Moto e (2020) Notification light

2021-04-03, 22:45 PM

Does this phone have the Notification Light as described below?

I have seen the info below, both on the phone's "help" section and also online support. Online support is where I copied the info below.

In the "Settings" there is a "Sound" choice but not a "Sound & Lights" section.

I actually have 2 of these phones, one for myself and one for my wife. Neither appears to have the notification light feature. Can someone verify if the Moto e (2020) has it?

Thanks in advance.

John

Control notification light

The fingerprint sensor lights up to alert you when:
  • An alarm goes off
  • You receive a call or text message
  • You receive a wireless emergency alert
  • You're charging
To change when it lights up:
  1. Go to Settings > Sound & lights.
  2. Adjust settings:
    • To change which events make it light up, touch Lights, then turn off (or on) any events.
    • To stop it from ever lighting, turn Lights off .
    • To stop the light at certain times, use Do Not Disturb. To allow lights when Do Not Disturb is on, under WHEN DO NOT DISTURB IS ON, turn exceptions on  (calls, notifications, or charging).
To adjust the intensity of the notification light:
  1. Go to Settings > Sound & lights.
  2. Touch Lights > Brightness.
  3. Choose a specific level, or choose Adaptive to adjust to the current environment.

Hi tinpl8

I have checked and sorry to inform this device does not have the notification LED. However, I will pass the feedback along. Please don't hesitate to post again in case you need further assistance.

Thanks

Sunitha
