No number on new Moto e6 from Walmart, can't activate

Hello. A month ago I purchased a Motorola Moto e6 from Walmart. I had a personal emergency before I could activate it and I'm just now regaining access to the phone. I've lost all the packaging so I don't have anything to go off of on how to activate my phone.


In the About Phone settings I see this phone was never assigned a number. Also I tried activating the phone through both StraightTalk and Tracfones website, but they say both my SIM and MEID are invalid.


Upon trying to make a call I'm prompted to purchase an American Roaming prepaid pin for $15. Is this what I do to activate the phone? I've had a phone from Walmart before and just used the refill cards they sell there. I'm currently struggling financially and can't afford to purchase the wrong thing.


Any help in getting this phone is service is greatly appreciated.

This is odd. Did you try activating your SIM here? Also, have you reached out to your carrier regarding this? May I know what they have advised you? Thanks.
