Hi Larsony,

I will be happy to assist you with this. May I know the service provider of the phone? May I also know where did you purchase the device?

Best regards,
Zeke

Sorry for the delay in response and I purchased it from bestbuy online for a government lifeline program and it worked before just one day the sim card said it was not recognized and I put it in my government phone and the sim card worked also the phone is unlocked for usa

T-mobile is the actual service provider

Stand up wireless is my government phone company I use

Also don't want to hear that I need to reset my phone I have done that like a few times

Hi Larsony,

How many SIM cards have you tried on the phone? Please update your profile with current phone, carrier and IMEI -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Need help updating your profile? See here. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Forum-Feedback/Complete-your-forums-profile/td-p/3339943

Well I have tried several SIM cards and none of them work and I requested a device rma to deal with it it doesn't make sense why all of a sudden the sim card reader just died and I am not currently on the device because I was going to ship it in for warranty that's if I can figure out how to get it to a fed ex drop off place I'll try one other thing and if I don't get it then I will let you look at it

Hi Larsony,

We would like to know if you were able to repair/replace your phone? If yes, can the phone recognize the SIM card?

Best regards,

Where did you purchased the phone? Is it from a retailer or from a carrier?

Hi Retailer Tesco

asked them and they said its 'unlocked'

moved from their carrier O2 to Virgin inserted Virgin Sim and just get that error message.

Virgin Sim works with other phones without issue.

Help much appreciated
