Charger connected but cannot charge now

Hi all, 

 

I seem to have an issue with the battery - it literally says: charged connected, but cannot charge now 

 

I've found some tip online to use the recovery - this worked once, and to follow this steps every time i want to charge is not workable,  (+ since this morning the recovery does not do the trick) 

 

use several charges, including the original one, phone is a week old!

 

Anyone any tips/experiences?

Hi Peter R,

 

We would like to look into this. Are you using the phone while charging? Try booting the phone in safe mode by following the steps below and check if the phone will charge. 

 

To reboot in safe mode:

  1. Press & hold the Power button.
  2. Touch & hold Power off.
  3. Touch OK to restart in safe mode.

To answer the first question, yes, phone is in use (streaming) when loading - but also not used when it supposed to charge (overnight)

It seems one month old phone moto e7 plus while charger connected it showing charging but charge didn't take up.. what to do kindly suggest.. it's very urgent

Phone is one month older.. u can check it by IMEI no.

Hi Ansup,

 

Are you using the charger that came in with the phone? Have you also tried booting the phone in safe mode? You can find the steps on my previous message.
