Hi, I'm Steve. I recently purchased Moto e7 plus. It's my first smartphone. Now I'm facing some confusion about charging it. Some people say that it's okay to charge your smartphone overnight. On the other hand some says it affects the overall battery life of the smartphone. Please tell me should I charge my phone overnight or not .

Hello Steve. This is a great question. The idea of charging overnight damages batteries stems from older rechargeable battery technology. Today there is no harm in putting your phone on the charger overnight. It will not shorten your battery life. I've been doing it for as long as I can recall with no ill effects to my batteries. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. I'll be here to help.
