Re:Android 11

I did not even try to factory reset because it's pointless. This issue is not caused by a glitch but simply there is something wrote wrong in the code.

The phone just lags.

I bought this phone for 2 things :

- Smoothness

- Huge Battery

after a11 the battery discharges at the double rate and the visual performance are devastated

I did both things but it is the same. It seems like the problem is somewhere else, because it is doing it even with another widget. Every second unlock and the animations are lagging. I have to lock and unlock again and the problem is fixed. Until the next unlock....

Re:Android 11

Hi Everyone,

We would like a bug report on this so we can further investigate this. Please also update your profile with current phone, carrier and IMEI -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Need help updating your profile? See here. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Forum-Feedback/Complete-your-forums-profile/td-p/3339943

To enable developer options:
1. Go to Settings > About phone > Build number
2. Tap Build number seven times. After the first few taps, you should see the steps counting down until you unlock the developer options. Once activated, you will see a message that reads, “You are now a developer!”
3. Go back to Settings, where you’ll find a Developer options entry in the menu

Steps on how to generate a Bug Report:
1. Go to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Enable USB debugging > Toggle On
2. Enable Settings ->System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On
3. Once the issue is reproduced: Go to Settings -> System -> Advanced ->Developer options -> Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power-down menu.
4. Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
6. Then upload the Bug Report to your personal Google Drive and then share the link of the Bug Report via Private Message.
7. Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the bug report was taken.
8. Please indicate the local time when you observed the behavior.

Best regards,
Zeke

Re:Android 11

This will not help at all :) Because I can't create a bug report when the problem exist. This bug is not happening all the time. After I unlock the device all the animations are laggy. Some times not. Like it is running at 90hz but only on paper. We are not developers. We are simple customers with simple need. JUST TO WORK NORMAL. I am using the europen version. Maybe the problem is only with the EU rom. I don't know. But I installed the rom with rescue. Wiped the data. Disabled BLUR... Everything. There is no cleaner installation than that. We are just reporting problems. Don't expect from us to solve them. That is the developers job.We are paying for products to use them. Not to fix them. If it was fine with android 10. So the problem is with android 11. That is with what I can help :) Regards.

I totally agree with Hara.

A bug report will be totally useless.

And even more, I use my phone disabling the most of bloatware you put in, so, performance-wise, I'm even on the lightierside than a stock clean system.

And it's possible that this kind of problem pops out on EU rom only.

Just check a clean EU rom and you will notice all the lags, battery draining problems and whatever.

Well it could be different roms even if we are both in EU

or even maybe it could be that hardware is slighty different between our countries

Hello all, I understand this is frustrating, but in order for us to get this over to our engineers, we will need a bug report. If we could duplicate the issue we wouldn't need to ask for one, but at this point, we're unable to replicate it on our device. If you are seeing this lagging issue, please generate a report and share it with us.

Thanks,

Tom

Re:Android 11

So I tried to create a bug report when the problem exist. After entering the developer options it was gone. Like after opening few menus is forcing the system to work properly. To switch correctly to 90hz or whatever the problem is. That is why I said the bug report is useless. But I will send it anyway. Regards.
