Why does Motorola claim this is a 5G phone in general when it only works in some networks!?

Why does Motorola claim this is a 5G phone in general when it only works in some networks!?

"5G" is also in the name so everybody assume its a phone with 5G support in general.

So many people here in several countries are complaining that this phone doesn't give 5G on their networks.

And why isn't this just transparent!? Why have u made the 5G support network dependent!? 5G is a technical standard that the network operators follow! Why doesn't Motorola follow the standard!?

And why don't u make a general fix that works for all networks!? Now it takes months for u to release a new software that make a fix for a single network in a single country. My network Three/Tre in Sweden will probably never be fixed.

Make a general fix now please!

Hi @Thomas_A_Watson ,

Thanks for writing to us.

We have answered this question in a similar post in the moto g 5G plus community. The moto g 5G plus is 5G-capable but not all networks are supported. This includes Three network in Sweden.

Additionally, please do not start new threads with existing thread/s on the same topic. It causes clutter on the site and makes it harder for us to follow an issue. There is already a long discussion on this here, so please post there. Thanks.

Closing thread

Best regards,
Mary
