Hi,

Thank you for posting and sorry to know about this, can try uninstalling any new updates for the following app: Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Search for “WebView”> App Info > Uninstall Updates. Please try and let us know.

I don't know why but some of my apps close abruptly. eg Gmail, Google .
From today morning it happenings. I did all possible steps the required(uninstall-reinstall, use the older version of the app). When I uninstall and re install it, then it works fine but as soon as I remove all the app from the background(including that app) and again try to open same problem occurs.
Kindly do something as Gmail is very essential for me .

Hi,

Thank you for reporting. I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've tried. We are aware of this. All Android devices are impacted by this bug which requires updating Chrome and Webview to the latest versions. Both are available on the Google Play Store. Give this a try and let me know if you're still having issues.

Regards

Sandip
