You may as well give us Android 12 directly now, bunch of incompetent software developers working for an unprofessional company. We are also kept in the dark by the mods here if there's actually any work going on or they have completely let go of this device, incidentally one of the more expensive ones on their lineup.

Better give us a percentage as cashback, quite simple.

Hi,

We understand this is taking longer than expected. But we are trying to get the updates as soon as possible for eligible devices. You will be notified once the update is available.

I am looking for buyer everywhere on social media.

But no one is interested in this.

I lost my hard earned money by buying this (Removed)

This device camera as well as software updates are big issue and  are nowhere near Xiaomi or realme devices.

Now my friends are asking me should we buy moto edge 20

I said big now.

This is just proof of the fact that if a company decides (Removed) the customers' then we are simply powerless to do anything. Motorola with the G 5G has done exactly that, there's now way that this delay is due to some geniune technical issues because all Moto devices after this came with Android 11 out of the box and it's not like this particular device is somehow drastically different.
The company simply has decided to continue singing 'pending approval' and 'we know it's taking time, you will be notified once available' until the complaints die down and everyone who unboxed and reviewed this product forgets about it entirely (which they already did in about 2 weeks).
If someone is aware of a way to escalate the issue then post here, let's not expect any more help from the mods.

@MotorolaTom   why dont you apprise the forum regarding any issues you are facing in developing A11 update.

Its the second time when I am seeing such a bad software situation. My earlier G5 Plus also faced this same scenario when Android 8.1 was seeded almost 1.5 years after release, and an interim update was completely skipped.

In a dog-eat-dog competition, Motorola CANNOT afford to be this way, where no dates or updates are provided. Other vendors are able to provide heavily skinned updates within a few months of release even to their low range models, let alone mid range ones, yet Motorola cannot do so with a near Stock build.

Also going the G5 Plus way, are you guys planning to directly provide A12 then? If so, please update the forum.

Keeping consumers in the dark is never a good strategy.

Motorola is doing an excellent job in the competitiveness department, but it becomes really difficult to recommend your devices, due to the non clarity of updates and schedules.

@Agent_Sandeep With all due respect, yourselves and other mods here have been posting the exact same reply for months.

We need to know 1) why there's been such a delay, 2) at what stage the software development is and 3) how soon will the updates be provided. Reply soon with the information that we want, not some jargon that you copy-paste from your previous replies.

If not even one of the three questions above can be answered then neither this forum nor mods should not exist because both are proving to be useless. We're looking forward to your prompt reply.

I doubt delay's due to software developments as there is "Moto G 5g UW ace (XT2113-1)" which is identical to "Moto G 5g (XT2113-3)" with carrier customized android 11.

Hey Team Motorola,

Its one year today since Android 11 has been released.

Honestly, we users do not expect you to provide the update now.

Judging by your previous pattern, I can see the similarity with the Moto G5 Plus Android update strategy where the updates have been delayed...deliberately..., and only a single Major Android update was provided thus relieving you from obligation to provide 2 years of Android update.

In light of the lack of clarity on the issue of updates provided by Motorola, I have lost all hope for the update.

I do however look forward to your non committal and generic reply stating that you're sorry for the delay
