no operating system error after update-cant boot

2 days ago my g fast went into update mode-when i tried to turn it on it said no operating system. tried rescue-flash failed-tried everything possible online-xda-etc... nothing would let me ... bootloader was locked- got unique key- wouldnt allow it so after 2 days i went and bought another. old one still under warranty  but screen is cracked,dont know if it is still under warranty then?

I'm sorry about that. Typically, a cracked screen is not covered by the standard warranty. But have you tried visiting service center and see if they can flash the phone? We recommend that you have your phone repaired. You can find your repair options on our site here, and they include an extensive carry-in repair network that in many cases can provide same-day service, plus mail-in and some fix-it yourself options. You will find an interactive map that allows you to find a carry-in center convenient to you. We recommend contacting the repair center to ensure they are prepared for your specific issue.
