my oem is grayed out what do i do?

hi,

 

I purchased a brand new moto G play 2021 and it is unlocked phone with no sim and I made a whole Motorola profile and got my unique device Id and all the platforms was installed perfectly. Under developer options its showing oem is disabled and grayed out.

 

when I type. fastboot oem unlock UNIQUE_KEY .....

response is :

(bootloader) Check 'OEM unlocking' in Android Settings > Developer 

(bootloader) Options

 

when I type.  % fastboot oem device info

response is 

(bootloader) 'device' is not a supported oem command

(bootloader) See 'fastboot oem help'

Welcome to Motorola forums! We'll try our best to help you.

 

A newly purchased phone has OEM unlocked option disabled or grayed out. It may take a week for this option to be enabled. Make sure that the device connects to a stable internet connection for the whole week to get the option accessible.
