Re:No LTE on Sprint MVNO

2020-10-25, 20:25 PM

Hello all:

I have the same problem as everyone else here. I moved my Moto G Power phone from Google Fi to Verizon and now only connect with 3G.  I have been on the phone for hours with Verizon going as high up their tech support as possible but no results. I've rebooted, pulled the SIM card multiple times and lastly factory reset (and lost a lot but not all of my apps and settings). Finally, Verizon got Motorola on the line and told them I needed to send my phone in to them,   After reading this thread I have no hopes that getting Motorola to look at my phone will help any.  I'll be with out a phone for at least 5-7 days.  I can make phone calls now, get sms messages and reach the internet on wifi.  But mobile data continues to connect at 3G.

Has anyone found the solution to this problem?   My wife moved her Moto G6 at the same time I did, and has no problem getting LTE.   Something has to be wrong with the G Power phone.

Hi roxyhart,

I'm sorry if you're experiencing this. I definitely would like to help you with this. There will be an update coming for GoogleFi units addressing LTE issues. If you can't wait for the update, we can check your options. I'll send you a private message to further discuss this. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich

Hi Agent Rich, thank you for your help, Again. I have spoken with ATT several time now and they believe it is a phone issue. My case has be escalated. whatever that means for ATT. ATT tech support had me change/add a new the APN, reset network, charge me $5 to get a new SIM Card, along with turning the phone off several times. They confirmed that for some reason the phone drops from LTE, to H, when the phone is used to make or receive a call. Happy to provide my IMEI number, should i send you a private message, will add it to my profile. thank you, seems like the same issue as the G7. Walt

Re:No LTE on Sprint MVNO

Hi, everybody. I'm a Tello customer and have been having this issue since July, and FINALLY found a successful solution

I have actually tried almost EVERYTHING along with Tello and Motorola, and constantly been receiving bad news. I actually have tried two different Moto G Powers and one Moto G Stylus, and I happened to have found a solution for both.

Please, add and try the following APN settings:

Name: internet
APN: r.mi.ispsn
Proxy: (leave blank)
Port: (leave blank)
Username: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Server: (leave blank)
MMSC: (leave blank)
MMS proxy: oap7.sprintpcs.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: (leave as is should be 000)
Authentication Type: (leave blank)
APN type: default,mms,dun
APN Protocol: IPV4/IPV6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPV4/IPV6
Bearer: LTE
MVNO Type: (leave none)

It worked right away with both a Moto G Stylus and a Moto G Power!!!

I just wanted to say a big Thank You to Agent Rich and MotoBecky.  They replaced my G Power phone and the problem I was having with Google Fi has been resolved.
