No Mobile Data / Map

Simple, when I get out of the range of my house WiFi!  I lose all internet connection.  Yes, Mobile Data and Roaming are turned on.  I have a Sprint plan with plenty of Data available.  Purchased this phone yesterday...is it a lemon or a simple fix?  I need my Maps and my Music.  LOL

Does your Carrier/Network have an Area Network checker to see if there's a Local mast problem?

 

For the phone Write down any WiFi logins you use and then do a Network Reset and restart the phone. This is usually in the Phone's Network settings or in the Backup and Reset section.

Please contact your carrier's Customer Support to ensure that you have the correct APN Setting. You can also try updating your "Device Configuration."

 

1) Go to Settings> Network & Internet> Mobile Network> Advanced> Carrier Settings> & click on "Update Device Configuration."

 

This update will take several minutes to complete. Once the update has completed, the message, "Activated" will appear. 

 

2) Reboot your phone. The LTE  icon should immediately appear at top of the screen indicating your new signal strength and connection status.
