There are a number of factors that can cause network related problems. The problem can be a setup in your router, signal strength, electrical noise... It can be a problem between your house and the internet provider or even within the network of the internet provider.

For the time being the only time I'd have to stream those 2 apps at home on the phone's Mobile connection if the power/electricity goes out in the house :-/ & I already stream these 2 apps on other devices on WiFi connected to the television most of the time when I'm at home. 


Good information here. At least we know it's not necessarily the phone at fault here as you said it's working fine at your father's house. I was able to get my DRM updated to support HD streaming. However, I noticed it was really really choppy on mine, but that could come down to the DRM key it was flashed with, it could be the fact that my device is permanently logging in the background. That being said while it was choppy, it never dropped down to SD and it never had to pause and buffer. I'd say if you'd like us to help debug the issues with the app on your home network, we'd need to get a bug report to analyze it. It's completely up to you how you want to proceed at this point. I'm here to help however I can. If you do want us to look at logs, please provide the following information.

  • Wifi router make: Motorola
  • Wifi router model: Arris NVG589
  • Security type used: 
  • Bug Report (steps below)

WiFI Bug Report Steps:

1. Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build number 7 times on the build number to go into the developer options mode]
2. After the above steps, Developer options will be enabled.
3. Go to Settings ->System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Enable Usb debugging > Toggle On
4. Enable Settings -> System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On
5. Enable Settings -> System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Enable Wi-Fi Verbose Logging > Toggle On
6. Once the issue is reproduced, Go to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> Developer options -> Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power down menu.
7. Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
8. Then upload the BugReport to your personal Google Drive and then share the link to the BugReport on the forums in a reply or via a private message.
9. Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the bug report was taken. Please indicate the time that you observed the behavior in local time.
