I couldn' find this particular app in the Google Play list of apps. Is it bundled with the Moto App?

It shouldn't be bundled with the Moto App. On the app info of the Moto Audio which is the same path from settings, please try to disable the app and reenable it again. Then try to check if the headphone would work since this will uninstall the update.
