Android 12 update : Fingerprint sensor Disappeared

I noticed recently that my phone doesn't unlock with my Fingerprint (I set 3 fingers)

I went to settings to remove all the saved fingerprints and add them again, and suddenly I didn't find the Fingerprint option in Security along with the other lock options as you can see from the screenshot below.

I also went to Service Menu and then Service Test and scrolled down and there is no Fingerprint HW as if it's not connected! this happened before Android 11 and still the same after the update.

if anyone has encountered the same problem please let me know. also if anyone can help me with any suggestion , or what should I do!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, our best advice for this situation is that you submit your device for review and repair at one of our service centers so that repair engineer could examine your unit and provide a proper resolution. You can check for nearest center here: http://bit.ly/updated_MASC

Hi @Niteshkum,

 

 Sorry to hear that the fingerprint option disappeared from the Settings. Since the Fingerprint option is no longer appearing under settings, we recommend doing a factory reset on this device to get the Fingerprint option back to Settings.

Sorry about that, we would request you to take a backup of your device before performing a factory data reset.

My phone warranty expired 2 months ago and now i don't have money to get repaired at service center, I am running it now without fingerprint and will use it without fingerprint in future too , Thanks for your reply and support.
