Motorola should change their update policy or even the management if they are incompetent enough not to observe the market and company's low market share, lol.

Motorola is quite busy launching new phones as soon as possible. But what about the older devices. If not a bug fix update. A security patch update is more than enough. Our devices are vulnerable to cyber attacks. It poses a threat to our privacy and security.

Pixel 4a is such a great option. It will receive the android 12 update in the coming month. It even has titan m1 chip for extra layers of security.

Motorola should definitely learn something from Google Pixel's software update policies. Latest softwares come first for Pixel devices but they are generally released for other smartphone manufacturers as well, like the monthly Android security update on the Android open-source project main GitHub branch. Google devs are swift to act.

I just learnt that of an OEM has to push a new OS update i.e android 12 to android 12 they have to depend upon the chip manufacturer for pushing a firmware update before pushing the latest Android update.
