5Ghz Hotspot channel 149 only

2021-04-25, 12:12 PM

Moto G50, XT2137-1.

Is it possible to change the 5Ghz Hotspot channel from channel 149 (UNII-3) to channels in the 36-48 range (UNII-1)?

A lot of 5Ghz Wi-Fi devices do not support UNII-3 channels.

Hello and thanks for posting your question. When it comes to the Hotspot the options are limited. The phone (Pixel included) has the ability to select either 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz. There is no setting to choose the channel being used. I hope that helps.
