Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry to know about this, can you let us know are you using Native video calls? or Google duo?  Have you tried to check with any other video call apps like WhatsApp does it behave the same?

Regards

Sandip

Hi,

1. I would like to inform you that is working as designed. We will pass this feedback along to the team.

2. Can you let us know when you are on Video call are you using a Speakerphone or headset? Also if you are using any case or cover please remove it and check.

Regards

Sandip

Thanks for confirming that the screen is timing out both on speaker and earphones. We'll reach out to some people on our end to see if we can duplicate.

As for the troubleshooting steps provided by @Agent_Sandeep , we are just making sure that the case is not triggering any of the sensors to make the phone timeout the display while on the call. We do our best to do all troubleshooting. While it might seem silly to you, as a tech person yourself, you know that sometimes the goofiest, seemingly unrelated, things can cause weird issues. I ask that you please refrain from attacking our agents. Our agents and I are here to help.

Thank you,

Tom

Thanks for explaining such a polite manner. And I liked to apologize for my behavior. No no sensor is cover by case. And what about in video call my mini screen which can't drag I tried on safe mode also but still same in my opinion it's maybe devicve bug of software issue. Thanks.

Hi Deep,

1. I have checked this with our team about the Video call mini screen so when you call from google dialer it redirects to the Google duo App to use a video call on which you can move the mini screen.

2. We are looking into this will keep posted once we learn more.

Sandip
