Chrome and Android system web not able to be updated after my Moto G7 received the Android update

Hi Alphon,

 

I will be glad to help you with this. I had noticed this before with other devices I have, looks like this is not limited to your phone nor after the update. A simple phone reboot worked for me, but I would suggest clearing the Play Store app (Settings > Apps & notification > see all > Google Play Store > Clear Storage / Clear Data). I cleaned the storage of Google Play Store AND restart my moto G7, and finally able to update Chrome. Then I repeated the steps again and my moto G7 allowed me to update Android system webview.
