Hahaha! A future update with no timeline? You don't say! Here is a suggestion. FIRST MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE DOWN THE DEFECTIVE UPDATE! And you haven't even managed to do THAT yet!

Buy a different phone. Make sure you have your data that you want to save. Throw your old phone in the trash. Lenovo isn't going to do anything for you.

Can Lenovo please reimburse us for the five weeks (and counting) of LTE service that we've paid for through our provider but didn't receive?

I called the tech support number yesterday to see if I could get a status on the patch / update. The Customer Service Representative was not aware of this issue. I directed them to this thread and they basically said to wait. I asked how long do we have to wait and they said they were going to call me back with an update. They called me back once already, so I have some hope for another call.

 

In the meantime, how is everyone getting by with their phones? Any positive updates from end users? For me, 3G is sporadic at best. But my text messaging is the worst of it all. Luckily calling still works without any significant issues so I can get by with work.

I have no mobile data and telephone service is hit and miss.

 

The phone is great while I'm at home on wifi, but it is useless when it switches to mobile data.

 

For me, it is beyond ridiculous.  My phone is still under warranty so I turned it in for repairs.  Motorola gave me a "like new" phone that already had the Android 10 update installed.  Needless to say, the "like new" phone had the same issue and is useless.

I have no idea if the brand new Motorola phones with Android 10 work.

 

Instead of using the mail-in service, I am going to take my "like new" phone to a service center for the warranty repair.  That should be interesting.

 

I wish Motorola would stand behind their products and either fix our phones or give us phones that work.

I don't think Lenovo would ever come for a fix, that is why I just made a BBB complaint and ask for reimbur**bleep**t there.
