agent rich,

 

you say all g7 google fi devices will receive the update.  when is this supposed to take place?  

 

i don't want to get a used replacement phone if an update is coming soon.  my device was purchased brand new, and i don't want a used phone (that is what motorola is offering).

I'm adding my disappointment to this list of unhappy customers. I travel for business and my company permits us to pick out the phones we want to use. I don't need a high-powered hand computer, I just need a phone for calls, email and directions. I've purchased several Moto phones for family starting with the Moto Droid so I've been a loyal and mostly happy customer for >11 years but this "hiccup" of trashing customer's phones and not providing any real emotion to show that Motorola cares will cause a large percentage of its customers to leave to another supplier. I should know, I have to work hard to keep my customers!! I have TWO brand new, less than a month old, G7 Power phones that are now problematic for travel. A solid response with a hopeful release date that Motorola is actually working on a fix for this is needed if I'm to remain as a customer.

Adding my name the list.

 

I'm experiencing the same problem. I've lost 4G / LTE on Verizon ever since the Android 10 update. Very frustrating that it has no fix. I spent a lot of time with Verizon doing everything they could try and nothing worked (no surprise there).

 

Originally purchased the phone via Google Fi in late 2019 and had been working wonderfully on Verizon network up until the update.

 

I continue to pay for 4G / LTE service with Verizon but am not able to get 4G / LTE speeds because of this defect. I think Moto / Lenovo should reimburse.

 

Please, when will a fix be available?

Unfortunately, we can't compare this to your Moto G7 Power, this thread is only for Moto G7 devices on Google-Fi. We have addressed this and the update is only for Moto G7. I would like to help you, please post a separate thread for Moto G7 Power so we won't clutter on the site. We will further assist you from there. Thanks.
