Moto G7 plus vibrations broken completely

hi there, very recently I noticed my phone no longer vibrated for any notifications, it's not on 'do not disturb' and I have been all over the settings to try see what's up, nothing. Then I noticed it wasn't even vibrating for wrong finger print or changing song like it usually does. I trouble shot and it said to push the button to make the phone vibrate, it didn't. It seems like the phones vibrate function has completely shut off. 

 

I clicked "contact us" and ended up here and can't seem to get in touch with Motorola. Help needed please :'((+_+)

Thanks for reaching us out. Usually, this type of failure is related to the hardware. You can try testing the vibration in the Device Help app > Device diagnosis > Hardware Test. Let me know the results.

Hey mate, 

Yea already tried this and it wouldn't work. It seems vibrations are completely gone. Not sure how to get in touch with anyone and get it fixed though as everytime I click on "help" or "get in touch" it takes me here. Where can I find out info about hardware fix? 

I'm still in warranty

Thanks for testing. Before sending the device for warranty, I recommend doing factory data reset w/o restoring your backup/third-party apps. This process will help us eliminate the most software causing issues. If vibration isn't still working after doing the FDR, it's a possible hardware failure and you may proceed with your warranty options. 

 

Factory Data Reset:
Settings > System > Reset options > Factory Reset
*Backup your important files before doing the reset
