Noise cancellation hole at the top.

2020-03-02, 23:05 PM
I made a mistake and forced the Sim ejector pin in the other tiny hole at the top of the phone next to the Sim tray. I believe that works together with the speaker to cancel out noise. I was afraid I damaged my phone. Did I?

Hi UmarAbdullahTT,

That could be the secondary microphone. Have you tried testing the microphone in the Device Help app > Diagnosis > Hardware Test > Microphone? Also, try recording videos and check if it records audio. Let me know Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich
