Once again: Peek display to sensitive (Moto G7 Plus, Android 10)

2020-02-26, 17:04 PM

Now on Android 10 the peek display is turning on and off again on every little vibration of the surface on which the phone is laying on. Typing on a pc keybord is enough to turn on and of the display in a never ending loop. In the Moto settings of Android 9 where two options for the peek display, grab the phone to turn on and approach to turn on, now on Android 10 only the "approach to turn on" setting is left, the "grab the phone" setting is gone. Disabling the last one solved this high sensitivity problem on Android 9.

Now a previous solved problem is back, thats very annoying!

Hi KaMiKa,

Thanks for reporting. I'd like to understand this behavior, can you please send a sample video showing what's happening with the peek display? Also, what options do you see under Moto Display > Peek Display? Let me know. Thanks.

Best regards,

Hi Rataman,

It's a pleasure to see you here on Forums. May I know what's the model?

Rich why are you asking a question and after receiving the answer you are moving it to a different thread where it becomes senseless? If you are not interested in any other model's issue just don't ask about it.

The issue shows that the bug is not model related
