As you can see in the screenshots there are TWO of everything.

 

This only happens with Google Apps and Ringtones.

 

Here in Files there are TWO of each videos. Images show something similar.

 

 

Here in Photos you can see TWO of each folder with differing content. Notice one folder has a SD CARD ICON. This leads me to believe the App is trying to read an SD Card, but there is not one because it is MERGED with system memory.

 

 

I can try to reformat the card but I see no option for that, only Format As Removable.

 

If this will require a system reset it will have to wait. I will have to find a way to backup things to a drive of some type. And since I do not have a computer I will have to use the Library. This might take some time.

 

But I do not see the memory as being corrupted but I see an error in programming on Google's part.

This is not just my phone but three different Moto G7 Power's.

 

Two of my friends with the same phone but different SD Cards & configuration are experiencing the same issue with Google Apps.

 

This is a programming issue & NOTHING to do with a corrupt SD Card.

 

Why can't developers accept that their App is to blame?

 

Why is it ALWAYS the user's fault?

 

Google has developed BAD Apps, that's all there is to it!
