different phone settings for dual sim G7?

2020-01-27, 21:11 PM

I have a dual sim G7 I use for personal and work. I have personal number set to Do Not Disturb with Exceptions from starred contacts due to inordinate number of spam calls. Is there a way to set up work SIM to accept all calls yet keep personal SIM on Do Not Disturb? TIA

Hi Tar_Heel_Talker,

I have not seen settings to make an exception for each SIMS. Both SIM uses and follows only the exceptions you set for DND. It's not possible for one cannot receive phone calls for "everyone" and the other one can. Let me know if you have a question or clarification. Thanks.

One of the problems with all dual sim phones is that yes you can have two Sims in the phone but you have to tell the phone which sim to use at any one time. You can mix and match though like you can have Sim one for calls and Sim two for text and vice-versa etc.

For the Spam calls get this great free/donationware Call Blocker that I use from the Playstore called,"Should I Answer",

It has a big database and I sometimes add my own reviews to help others.
