Proximity sensor

My proximity sensor stopped working. Ran the hardware test and it said to contact Motorola for help.

Worth checking a few things before you take a decision to send it in for repairs ...

Run the diagnostic in Safe mode, see if it's kaput there also.

Screen protector or case - remove them and test again.

Press and hold Power button until reboots (ignore menu).

Finally, a factory reset if all else fails.

Sending anything away for repair at this time could be a lengthy procedure ...
