Hi during a Motorola chat yesterday I was advised there is a known problem with talkmobile SIM and Moto G8 power lite software. I tried a workaround inserting a different network SIM which let me edit the APN settings. Unfortunately I couldn't save and access them when I put my talkmobile SIM back. Nobody can tell me how long it will take to resolve the software problem so I either have to put up with no mobile data access, pay for a new SIM or change my phone. I guess a new SIM with a different provider is the fastest option but it seems a bizarre problem if it is only occurring with talkmobile and G8 power lite phones. Why is the software so different from other G series phones?

Hi Agent_Suman, It is a brand new phone no apps on apart from stock. I have exactly the same symptoms as 8GotoM. I have updated My serial number under settings

Are you with talkmobile? See my other reply about Motorola now know it's a software problem and are working on a fix.

Ok have updated on Lenovo. I also saved details on Motorola site a couple of days ago - does that link across to here as well?

Hi, 7 days later and no further updates. I have been forced to change my network and get a new SIM. Not hugely impressed with the level of service here I'm afraid.

Yes, the support is appalling this is a known issue and no fix after 2 weeks? Is it possible to have a reply ! and a fix!
