I agree with vivek, the camera app need to be updated to use the power of processor, and to get more detail image of objects.

The phone uses 4x binning so photos should be 12mp. If the quality is poor, then please share some sample photos so I can pass them along to my camera team.

If motorola is doing binding then pic came to be very clearly even is indoor condition as it has f1.7 aperature 48 mp camera. Zooming into pic inage became dull .. Macro mode focus is worst...even some yotubers say about this problem. If gcam is used pic came very clearly.. what is this...one camera taken average pic and gcam take good pic.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I'll pass this feedback and pictures along to my camera team. I can't promise any improvements, but, I'll push for it.

Hello everyone,

I have some updates on the camera.

First, ensure that you have removed the plastic shipping liner/plastic from the camera lens. Failure to do so would result in fuzzy/blurry images.

Second, there will also be some improvements coming in the future for the camera, likely via PlayStore updates. So make sure you regularly check and install updates to Moto Camera and other Moto apps.
