[ISSUE] Low Resolution For Video Recording & Slow Motion

2021-01-16, 14:34 PM

When I'm recording Video it records in 2.0MP only.

And in slow motion only in 0.9MP.

Hello, I'd like to clear some things up. FHD 1920x1080 (1080p) only 2.1MP is used. This is normal. When setting to FHD(20:9) you're stretching the view and the resolution is dropped to 1920x864 which is 1.6MP. For Slow-motion videos, it drops to HD 1280x720 (720p) or 0.9MP. This is normal and the same across cameras and phones.

This article shows some pretty good information regarding this.

"HD refers to cameras with a standardized resolution of 720p or 1080p. The numbers 720 and 1080 refer to the horizontal resolution. Therefore, 720p HD camera resolution provides images that are 1280 x 720 pixels (that adds up to 921,600 pixels, which means a 720p HD camera is not technically a megapixel camera), and 1080p HD cameras provide 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, or 2.1 megapixels. "

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
