Issues with Moto Edge 20

Hello Motorola Team,

 

You are requested to answer the questions given below point-wise, even if your answer is being repeated.

 

1) When will the Play Store UI issue be solved?

5) Due to some issues, I have disabled auto enabling of the dark theme at sunset. But the dark theme is getting enabled automatically after 6 PM on a regular basis.

 

6) A senior Motorola executive has given the below statement to some online news channels please check it and tell whether this news is true or not and why you people don't know about it.

Motorola edge 20 pro, edge 20 and edge 20 lite will receive at least 2 major android OS upgrades and 2 years of bi-monthly security updates. These devices are protected by ThinkShield for mobile, which offers additional security protection. Essential features can also be updated via the PlayStore, which allows us to provide key updates more often. Users can expect ongoing support for software features like new My UX experiences, new camera features and new Ready For experiences, dependent on hardware compatibility.

 

7) Earlier on your Motorola India website, contact us page there is an option to escalate the matter if we are not satisfied with the reply received from technical support. Now you have removed this option from your website. So I request you to share the escalation Matrix.

Hello, Here are the answers to your questions. We included the questions so it will be easier to read it.

 

1) When will the Play Store UI issue be solved?

This is not an issue, it doesn't impact the whole phone's performance.

2) When will the Moto Edge 20 firmware be available in the Rescue and Smart Assistant tool?

We'll raise this up to the team to get that checked.

3) When will Motorola update this information on its Indian website that this device will support Dual 5G simultaneously?

We've already responded to this thread regarding the 5G.

4) When will Motorola mention on its Indian website that this phone supports carrier aggregation with the below details?

We do not support carrier aggregation which is why there's nothing stated on our website.

5) Due to some issues, I have disabled auto enabling of the dark theme at sunset. But the dark theme is getting enabled automatically after 6 PM on a regular basis.

We would like to ask for a bug report and screenshot of the Settings and pass this along to our team to get this checked.

1. Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build number 7 times on the build number to go into the developer options mode]
2. After the above steps, Developer options will be enabled.
3. Go to Settings ->Developer options -> Enable USB debugging > Toggle On
4. Enable Settings -> Developer options -> Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On
5. Enable Settings -> Developer options -> Enable Enable Bluetooth HCI snoop log > Toggle On
6. Once the issue is reproduced, Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power down menu.
7. Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
8. Then upload the BugReport to your personal Google Drive and then share the link to the BugReport on the forums in a reply or via a private message.
9. Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the bug report was taken. Please indicate the time that you observed the behavior in local time.
