I was all excited to pre-order the Edge, but after seeing so many people have screen issues with the Edge and Edge+ I regretfully have to pass. I'm really bummed out!

Hello, I am French and unfortunately I have encountered the same problem since yesterday. I have had my phone for 3 and a half weeks. Yesterday black spots appeared on the side, moreover the black turned green. I bought it from Amazon France and they decided to send me a new one. I hope it will not be the same. I'm fine with the last version, oddly today I have no more spots and my screen is normal.

I'm really sorry that you're experiencing this. I'm going to have someone reach out to you to get your phone replaced.

Re:Screen Issue

I am in Australia and my screen seems fine but I have only had the phone for three days. It would seem that Ctos who manufactures the screen for the Edge has some serious quality control problems.

This is a shame for Motorola who want this phone to be their re-entry into the premium mobile phone segment. Maybe Samsung or LG AMOLED screens would have been a safer bet. This sort of publicity will only hurt sales. Possibly in an effort to bring this phone to market with as low a price as possible they decided to source a cheaper panel and are now paying the price.

Re:Screen color bleeding, photos with incorrect orientation, occasional freeze

I got my phone on the first and today it started malfunctioning like the subject says. I read that the Edge plus has the same issues and there was a software fix? If not can I have a replacement? Got it from Amazon. Really like it while it was working fine. Thanks, Ike

I just bought the Motorola Edge last week and already the screen display is having major issues.  A green spot appears on the right hand side, then bleeds in more as you use the phone longer and then it starts flashing on the bottom of the screen like it is stuck on something.

I have tried rebooting and powering down the phone.  I have noticed that when you turn it off for a while and turn it back on, the issue seems to be much less. But after 5-10 minutes the issue comes back.

Here is what it looks like:

Ugh. Yes. It gets worse the longer you use the phone.
