This is a difficult thing to answer. Technically because you bought it used or from a non-authorized reseller it might not have a warranty. Please send a private message to @MotoBecky She can help look into this for you.

The last I heard was they sent the refund to O2 as you mentioned. Why they repaired and sent you the phone back still. I'm unsure. I would recommend reaching back out to the service team you were working with to inquire. I will also send them a message to see if I can learn anything.

Hi there,

 

I am starting to experience purple spots on the left-side edge as well as a green/yellow-ish tint in low-light conditions on a December 2020 Motorola Edge smartphone bought off Amazon.

 

Please can this be looked into? I am based in the United Kingdom so let me know if I need to reach out to someone else

@MotorolaTom I'm sorry for this extremely late reply after the refresh rate and brightness issue from Nov. 11th(?, I believe). The refresh rate issue was compared side by side with my old (to be sent in) Edge and had the "sluggishness" of 60 over 90. After a newer update further along the road, I don't even notice if it is still 60 or changed to 90 since then. It has actually become a non-issue for me, now. Also, the brightness setting has been "fixed" with the use of a root app to set minimum brightness to a lower value which works out great in dark environments. As to the reason of my new reply here, I want to  inquire about ordering some more of the screen protectors that are provided by Motorola in-box. My original one for this phone has seen some stuff and I now need a new one. Only thing I have found online are 3rd party and all were tempered glass from China that didn't seem a good quality. I prefer the film type, the ones that Motorola provided were of great quality... except that first one I tried on my very first Edge. That one left a line in the center of my screen dues to dust or air that had already been on the film prior to application. Is there a way to receive more of the screen protectors that were in-box? Or perhaps officially supported film type protectors that Lenovo/Motorola recommends? Thank you!
