On my 3rd phone and this time we seem to have a winner. It came with an immaculate screen (the first two had green hue all over since day one), screen uniformity is amazing (no discolouration at any point, really smooth)  and hopefully it will stay that way. Production date is January 2021 if that is of anyone's concern. Fingers crossed.

Hello everyone. Is there a problem with the screen only on Edge +? or Edge too? What production date is needed so that there are no problems?

Hi, I have had my phone for a few weeks and it has started having the same screen issues, in particular grey/purple pixel 'smear' on the left hand side of the screen that changes depending on the brightness (but is always there). There is also a definite greenish tint to the left half of the screen.

I have been a Motorola customer for 7 years and the phones have always been fantastic. This Edge Plus would be great too if it weren't for these screen issues. Hoping it can be resolved!

 

I'm in the UK and ordered the phone directly from Lenovo. I'd be very grateful if someone could advise what I need to do to get this problem addressed.

Hi.

 

It has been seen on both models. While phones with later production dates show lower incident rates, there is no clear cut-off date, and the odds of getting one from earlier dates is still rather low.

Three weeks ago I bought my son an edge+ and am now seeing the screen issues like green tint, extra lines that look like screen burn but aren't burn and purple blobs.  What can I do?
