I'm beginning to have this issue as well. A purplish cloudiness/bruising has appeared on the right side of my screen near the power button, and sometimes flickers to cover nearly the entire right half of my display. I am also on a 2 year contract in Canada (began Jan 4th 2021), and I am unsure whether I should go through my carrier or Motorola directly. Please advise, I would like to resolve this before my display potentially becomes unusable.

Hi,

 

I just wanted to report back, my phone got replaced and new one was produced in Dec 2020.

Three months of use later and Edge is PERFECT. Not a single issue, not with the screen or anything else no matter of it is low or high brightness. It is such a good phone.

I just started getting this issue myself. Really need it resolved ASAP, is there a way to have the phone replaced or fixed without having to go without a phone for an extended period of time? Its been getting worse the past few days. Im in Canada and noticed there was a post about there being an issue with some of the phones here.

Has this issue been resolved in newer devices? What is the likelihood that I would have this issue in a device purchased in March 2021?

 

I'm interested in purchasing this device, I really like the aesthetic and the specifications, but the amount of users commenting about their screen issues has me a bit worried. Has Motorola issued any statements on whether newer devices no longer have this screen issue?
