I hear you. I'm sure you speak for others who have had multiple replacements. I am so sorry for the problem.

 

Unfortunately, right now our only option is replacement. But we are anticipating a better solution within days. We hope and expect that we can put an end to the multiple replacements some owners have had to endure. 

 

If you need a replacement now, we will contact you and make the arrangements. If you want to wait a few days, that's also fine.

 

Again, apologies. It's frustrating.

Thank you. My problems is I now have a medical no condition now and I need to keep everything on my phone. But I feel I can't do that with this phone. But I will need another replacement already.

Hi Matt, This green shade/tint can be seen in my 2nd handset too! (which was replaced less than a month ago) just like the one we saw in my 1st handset. It's not good to encounter this same issue again. Please suggest a better solution, sould I wait few more days for a permanent fix by Motorola then request a replacement so that there's a good chance this same display issue will not scroll to my 3rd handset if at all I chose for a replacement as option. Also would like to report that today I got a call from Motorola India Bangalore team to take my feedback on this phone model & informed me that an tampered screen guard protection specific to Motorola Edge+ is provided free of cost by Motorola to me which can be installed at Motorola authorized service center! I am not 100% sure but I believe I heard them mentioned it will be good to have it installed to minimize these display issues or so! Is that correct Matt, s Motorola is coming up with any permanent solution of fix in this way?! Checked with the service center for the status on the same & they said they haven't received any such screen guards yet & will update me once available. Matt,

 

  i do not have a problem waiting untill next week for a solution to this problem, but, i also dont want the

warranty/replacement/refund timeframe to expire. 

i can see that my edge+ has lasted a little longer than others before devoloping

these serious problems. i appreicate your time

So my wife has had the screen issues on all the edge + phones she has received. She is now on her 3rd replacement and the screen is doing the exact same thing the previous 3 units did. I have attached photos. All of the devices have done this to her.

Chiming in from Canada (Vancouver), I have the same issue as well (smudging from sides that goes away when phone is not in use, but comes back fast), I'm with Rogers (Fido), but the store doesnt seem to have an idea about this issue. Should I wait for the next software update and hope that it will fix it? I really love the phone.

I'm on my second device and it's already showing the green tinting on both sides of the lower portion of the display. I'd return this phone, but I missed the 30 return window for Verizon. This is getting out of hand now and I'm starting to get tired of it. Matt, please tell us what this long term plan and solution you keep talking about is. Also, burn-in is still a problem on my device and I haven't gotten a reply on the other topic.
