@mattforumsmngr I've updated my profile and already have Moto Security enabled. Thanks for your hard work, I haven't had symptoms as crazy as some here so I'm hoping it'll be fixed soon because I REALLY like this phone! :)

Hi.

Just to reiterate -- if you have updated to the new software and the issue hasn't cleared up in a day or so, then a return is recommended. We do appreciate the profile information as it helps us identify the phone.

Regards,

I own 3 of these phones, including one I've already gotten a replacement for. All 3 have similar screen issues, one is almost completely green now. One has 2 bright green lines across the bottom, and all 3 show artifacting around the backlights. What is the plan here? I would claim insurance to get new screens if I didn't know that the same issue would occur again. Do we need to wait for a for replacements, or is there something in the works?

I'd like to go on record and say I patiently waited all year until I got the phone on May 14th only to be disappointed.  Green tint.  Man.. come on moto.  I was so excited for you.  For the phone.   FYI, the update the other day has done nothing.  Anyway, now that I have vented I guess I will actually read these posts to learn how to get a replacement,  and keep all my fingers and toes crossed until it comes that it doesn't have the green tint issue. I mean, I guess I will do that.  If it's not a pain in the bum.  Dang, moto... did you release this phone fully aware of this issue knowing people would just live with it?  I'm getting red hot just thinking that so I'm going to assume no for my own health.  I mean, when I called on May 20th your tech support person had NO CLUE WHAT A GREEN TINT ISSUE WAS, so there is NO WAY you released a phone KNOWING THERE WERE DISPLAY ISSUES.   RIGHT???

Re:Screen issue

I am incredibly disappointed to report that my Edge is now starting to show this issue again, almost one week after the update was applied to my phone.   Turned my brightness down on a white screen because it was too bright to see the dreaded "burn-effect" on the right side of the screen again.   This happened while using my phone over my 30 minute lunch break.  Guess we aren't supposed to use the phone for more than a few minutes at a time. :/    Once the phone was idle for a half hour, it went away again.    Really feeling stressed about this issue and beating myself up for buying a device that was so recently released.  I didn't think a modern phone from a well-known company could have issues like THIS, especially so wide-spread.  I kind of feel like it's pretty terrible that such a huge % of these phones are showing these critical issues and they're still being offered for sale - at full price at that.   :/  I hope Moto offers a buy-back program of some kind or a recall on these at this point.  I should have trusted my gut and returned this phone as soon as I started having this issue.  It started ONE day before Verizon's 14-day return period.

EDIT:  I reached out to Verizon and talked with them.  They said there is nothing they will do because the phone is past the 14-day return period and that all correspondence/resolution is the responsibility of Motorola.   They did not offer anything additional other than that.    Please pull through for us Motorola.

I'm now extremely concerned. I bought this phone the day it came out. A week later, these issues started (shadows and artifacts showing up on the screen). Verizon sent me a new phone as I was within the 14 day return period. That phone has been great for 2 weeks, no issues, and I applied the update as soon as it came out a few days ago. However, as of 30 min ago, I'm seeing small shadows and artifacts on the left side of my screen. Similar to what I saw before. It just started small, but that's what happened with my previous phone. I've attached a picture. What is the process to get this fixed? If the update was to fix, and/or prevent the shadows from happening again, that doesn't seem to be the case. Again, thiis is extremely troubling.

I purchased my phone in the first hour it was available. Got the "smudges" showing up about 3 days later, and a greenish cast to the screen. This hadn't been reported yet to my knowledge and Verizon provided a new phone within two days. It has been fine. I think the update was applied (build QBPS30-188-48-3). Tried to attach pic but the Upload button won't activate.
