Hey! Check your device model under Settings -> About -> Model & Hardware. It should say XT2013-4.

After that, check under Settings -> Network & internet -> Mobile network -> Preferred network type -> 4G (recommended).

If I set the network to 4g it stays in a disconnected state. If I set it to 1x it connects to 3g

Check with your Hello Mobile agent.  Maybe you subscribed to a service plan that includes call minutes and text messages, but no data (or you've used up all your data capacity for the billing period)??

I have unlimited talk text and data. I have yet to use 4g/lte since if the phone is switched to use them it never connects to the network. As I said from above if left on 3g the phone connects. reception is fine. I don't know if it is a phone issue or provisioning issue. Sat on hold with my service for and hour and a half. was getting upgraded to tech support and lost my call and didn't want to sit on hold again for the day

Thinking this might be a sim/provisioning issue. Tried a tmobile SIM today and it connected to lte immediately

Or the phone doesn't support whatever band that carrier transmits on.

If the phone is XT2013-4 (this part is important), and since it works fine with T-mobile, I'm thinking it probably is, then...yeah, sounds like an issue with your particular carrier, the area you live in, or the phone, if it doesn't support that LTE band.

Also, what's your Android version?

I am on android 9.0 It is supposed to work with sprint. Though I am on a mnvo of them. There is allot about sprint sim compatibilities. I have no access to update prl or network profile either with current sim it just gives me software update. And from what I understand the sim is only for lte access. They still use imie/meid for cdma authentication

I see... I'm not very familiar with US carriers. For as far as I could read online, the phone seems to have the necessary bands for this carrier. So...in theory, it should work.

Did you try the same SIM in another phone? Does it work with that one?

Sorry about the late reply. Sprint sims are imei locked so I can't try another phone. On the plus side they were just absorbed by tmobile so maybe the issue will be resolved soon
