Re:VOLTE/LTE NOT SUPPORTED.

Yeah, Wifi connections are usually faster, so it's normal to work better. That's not a problem with the phone, it's a problem with your carrier and network signal in your area. :) You could try to do a speedtest comparison via 4G and Wifi using the Speedtest app.

Anyway, third party app issues are rarely caused by the phone itself. In your case, I'd say it's probably the network provider.

Yeah. That's pretty slow...

You can find below my results. First result in the list is wifi, the second one is 4G (carrier data connection).

Re:VOLTE/LTE NOT SUPPORTED.

It depends on the carrier. Also it depends whether you're indoors or outdoors. Because radio waves have a harder time going through walls.

For my carrier, when using LTE-A (the 4G+ icon you're seeing on your phone) official download speed should be around 500Mb/s max. This is more of a reference point. It almost never reaches that speed. But around 100Mb/s I'd say is more than enough for daily browsing.

You should ask Airtel about it. Whether they support such speeds and in which areas. Cause it could be that, due to high density population, the speed decreases dramatically.

Yep, that's what I was talking about. It depends on the area. And while it's definitely better, it's still not ideal.

Re:VOLTE/LTE NOT SUPPORTED.

Hi Suman/Matt,

Could you please reply what is happening with this device. There are so many flaws with different major operators running in India.

LOCATION                        :    (INDIA) DELHI/NCR

DEVICE                               :    MOTOROLA ONE VISION

ANDROID VERSION     :    ANDROID 10

CARRIER                            :    JIO, AIRTEL, VODAFONE

This device generally comes pre-loaded with android 9 Version. Which by default does not support dual SIM dual VOLTE. But after august 2019 patch update this device has started supporting dual SIM dual VOLTE (in standby mode).

1.     Both AIRTEL and JIO SIM works fine and shows LTE network in both SIM card slot after updating the device with August 2019 which brings dual VOLTE supports.

i.e. In SIM Management both sim cards show LTE, 3G , 2G options with use LTE services to improve voice and other communication options.

2.    After updating the device to Android 10 SIM network options has changed as follows.

SIM 1 (JIO):   LTE, 3G, 2G

SIM 2 (Vodafone): 4G, 3G, 2G         NO LTE after updating  device to Android 10

3.    JIO & Airtel supports wifi calling and handset too supports wifi calling still unable to use this feature.

4.    JIO purely operates on LTE and that’s the reason if you use two JIO SIM card in Motorola One Vision your both JIO SIM card network shows you these three options LTE, 3G, 2G.

5.   VOLTE completely works on data; means you use internet plus voice calls on it. VOLTE completely works on IPv6.

6. Airtel and Vodafone has just enhanced their 4G network to give VOLTE services to users.

7. In Delhi/NCR Airtel and Vodafone network keeping falling back from VOLTE to 3G, 2G and vice versa to complete communications.

8. Check attached screenshots from Motorola One Vision when device is running Android 9.
