Re:Android 11

Guys ..... This guys are the " customer care" dudes I guess.... They don't know anything about our phone updates..... We should contact a developer for the update or create a "Hastag" in twitter ... But the "Hastag " won't get trended because Mof+ is not a popular phone ..... We should wait for the update or we should get a proper phone at our next purchase ......... There is a quote in Batman The Dark knight saying " You shall die as a hero or live long enough to see yourself as a villan " moto chose option two ........

I was watching a tech video on Motorola phones from the UK and it seems like the situation is the same for OS updates even there , looks like they will be going to dogs very soon the world over and here the great Moto Agent Tom threatens that we will be removed if we keep asking the same questions again , well do we care Tom after buying a phone from a ( Removed)of a company like yours, we all know you all are a an incapable lot !

All,

To be clear, I'm not threatening anyone. All users agree to follow the community guidelines. If rules aren't followed then yes, you can be removed from the community.

We never give dates or timeframes for software updates. This is not a new policy. Asking and/or demanding dates multiple times after we already said we don't give the dates, is against the rules and isn't going to get you a different answer. Would I like to give dates or timeframes? Absolutely, but that's outside my or our agents' control and for good reason. The reason is if we give a date and something happens that causes a delay and we miss that promised date, I'm sure you would be even more upset. I'm not saying you're not upset about us not giving a date at all, but this is the main reason we never give them.

That being said, I feel your pain. There are some delays in getting the Android 11 update out to the Fusion+, but I can assure you, it's coming. I have also made sure that everyone I can yell at from my end knows your dissatisfaction with the current situation. I will also continue to bring this up with the teams responsible for the software updates.

We will make sure to update you all should we get any new information regarding the Android 11 update.

Thank you,

Tom

As per message from Tom above, we all will get android update but he can not assure timelines. Looks like moto will release upgrade for Android 11 when other phones will start releasing Android 14 in 2024.

Ok, you can't tell us the date but tell us the exact reason why motorola is taking so much time in releasing the android 11 update because within few weeks Google will release android 12 stable built but we are still stuck at android 10. @MotorolaTom

@ Motorola Tom, thanks for the reply , we have nothing personal against you or any of you in your team, its just that we are frustrated that a reputed brand like Motorola is not able to give us a promised update within a year, when almost all brands have upgraded the OS on phones purchased with in a year, we are hoping that the update comes along faster, and thanks again for voicing our frustration to your companies teams responsible for the updates Thanks Chris

Hi TOM

You never provide dates , i know the real reason the reason is that motorola don't have the software developing department ....if they have then they will give a target timeline to software department and we will receive the update time to time ... Am i wrong TOM ... ?
