There cannot be problem with the chipset manufacturer or chipset because samsung m51 with same chipset updated it's os to android 11 6 months ago...we heard in twitter that there is a network issue with moto one fusion plus...and motorola showing the status of pending partner approval from beginning of 2021 itself...

We need motorola to provide valid reason and right kind of information...we can wait in case it's a valid reason...and we want genuine status regarding android 11 update..Either it's issue with any bugs or with carrier partner

My educated guess from comparing the Motorola with competing devices (few with same chipset) that have already received android 11, is that it probably has something to do with the slide-out camera on it. The only thing I can find that's really that much different in comparison. Maybe to make it budget-priced they got it from a vendor that doesn't have the software support resources to release new drivers on a regular basis, and are waiting for them to get the resources to do so or for them to release source code to Motorola so they can continue the driver updates to make it A11 compatible.

Just a guess though.

Android 11 discussion is closed and marked as resolved without resolution.

2021-09-24, 13:55 PM

It's very unprofessional to closed a topic without resolution when many people are following the topic.

I think there is some network issue with the android 11 update because when I tried pixel experience rom, I found some network problem like network doesn't work sometime and switching sim slot make it work in some cases.

But without giving ETA how can you expect user to close the topic?

They have paid for the hardware + software.

I personally use OnePlus as primary and use it for testing but I don't like dictatorship of companies and helplessness of consumers.

If they all with complaint in consumer forum, you will have to answer them instead of us.

I read it somewhere "The company will give one major Android update to all the Moto smartphones, but the second update will be subjective. In a statement given to Android Authority the company said, "Each device has its own merit in terms of where it needs to be updated and how many updates it does get.".

I don't know if it is true but they want  proper explanation of delay.

I think we have made a mistake by purchasing this product. It's been more than a year and still running on the same android 10.

Don't expect Android 11 update to reach our phones.

Motorola has successfully cheated thousands of users by promising Android 11 update.

It's just a big lie.

One thing we can do is to avoid buying any mototola products in the future and also warn our friends and relatives to avoid Motorola.

Once again, well done Motorola.

Thank you for making this the worst community ever.

Agreed !!!

With this we can understand that motorala is busy releasing their products as quick as they can.

Proper product testing isn't happening and they just mess up things. Now due to their negligence, they are not able to bring up an proper update for the device. Sad!

Hi  @ akxhay ,

The Android 11 topic is still open and new posts can be added to the discussion. We have only marked the solution so that users can easily get to the answer rather than go through all the pages.

While we never share timing information, yes, moto one fusion+ is expected to receive Android 11. You can find a list of the phones expected to receive Android 11, pending carrier approval, on our blog here: https://www.motorola.com/blog/post?id=342

You can find the latest update about Android 11 on this page: https://forums.lenovo.com/topic/findpost/15039/5041559/5426444

I have also merged your post to the existing topic in the community.
